Tarot Desk VI - Strength

A tarot deck is an unusual item. Some are mere replicas that belong to fortune tellers and con men, some provide a seeker with genuine answers. Either way, there is something about them that makes people… uncomfortable. It is said that the strongest decks are ones made by the one who plans to use it, designing each card based on what they believe best represents each archetype. The cards can be difficult, unruly.

Their answers may be unclear, or seem like they have no bearing on the question asked of them. But the answers they give always become clear in time.

Unlike some other cards, Strength is a simple card to understand. If presented upright, then its presence in an encouragement to embody its core tenants of strength (duh), energy, courage, patience, control, compassion, bravery, confidence, and one's inner power.

When presented in the reverse, the Strength card is a call to action, to tackle one's weakness, self-doubt, low confidence, insensitivity, lack of self-discipline, cowardice, and feelings of inadequacy. Also in this form is a warning of incoming war or conflict in someone's life, and a warning of being too forceful.

AN: Thank you to Gryphonclaw's player for permission to include their character in my tarot deck project.
